The Chardonnay grapes for this generously flavoured white, are grown in vineyards planted on the rich, sandy soils of Lodi, in California. Here the vines are bathed in sunshine and the grapes reach full ripeness easily. Post-fermentation the wine spends 3 months in French oak. Tropical fruit and green apple aromas are backed by toasted oak spice. The palate finishes with notes of zesty lemon.
